Healing the skin from the inside out

Many of us suffer from some sort of skin imperfections. Do we ever stop and think why that spot is showing up? How did it get there? Why is it so dark? These questions and more are asked on a daily basis. The real question is how did they get there in the first place? There are many different reasons why something is showing up on your body or your face. Today we will discuss the eye area and why certain things may be appearing around your eyes.

Dark circles are an area of concern for many people. This can be a sign of anemia or poor vascular health. One way to improve this is to improve your diet. Vitamin c complex supports vascular and capillary health. Foods such as red papers, citrus fruits, and the rinds of fruit are high in vitamin c. Allergies such as airborne or food can cause dark circles as well. Restoring the health of the mucus membranes will help alleviate the discoloration and discomfort that comes with having allergies. Vitamins a, c complexes, trace minerals, and amino acids are most beneficial.

Eye puffiness could indicate poor kidney/adrenal function. Foods high in vitamins a and c complexes will help regenerate kidney function. In addition to vitamins, taking it easy and resting will also help restore kidney function. For optimal adrenal gland function, foods high in vitamins c, g complexes, and minerals such as copper and potassium are most beneficial.

Aging around the eyes may be due to a diet high in refined carbohydrates, sugars, trans fats, and lifestyle habits. Emotions also play a big role in the lines around your eyes. If you have too many lines that are going downward, you have too much sadness in your life. Lines that go upward are actually good. This means you know how to smile, laugh, and have a good time. Any lines around your eyes can be improved with proper diet and emotional balancing. Eating a diet high in fish, healthy fats, fruits, and vegetables can help slow down the aging process.

The skin has an incredible way of telling us what's going on inside our bodies. It will show you what's out of balance. This can be diet or emotions. The best way to improve any imperfection on your skin is by improving your gut health and living a life full of peace, love, and harmony. Take one day at a time and don't allow negativity in. I have personally suffered from inflammatory skin conditions. I allowed stress to overcome my entire being. Now that I have learned breathing techniques and to not hold onto negative emotions, my skin has never been clearer.
